2. Hematology
Hematological care is a medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the blood, bone marrow and related systems. Hematology covers a wide range of conditions, including anemia (lack of red cells), thrombocytopenia (lack of platelets), leukemia (malignant tumors of hematopoietic cells), lymphomas (malignant tumors of the lymphatic system), hemophilia (blood clotting disorder), as well as other hereditary and acquired blood diseases.
