Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in Kazakhstan, the Social Health Insurance Fund has allocated more than 73 billion tenge to pay allowances to the salaries of medical workers. In August alone, more than 66 thousand medical workers involved in the fight against coronavirus infection and pneumonia will receive salary increments, Bolat Tokezhanov, Chairman of the Board of the FSMS, said at a briefing at the CCS.
“The Fund continues to pay allowances to medical workers and specialists involved in anti-epidemiological measures. For March-August, allowances were paid in the amount of 73.7 billion tenge, ”Tokezhanov said.
He recalled that according to the new order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the list of medical workers has expanded. It included doctors and nurses who are involved in the work of mobile brigades, ambulance workers at primary health care, as well as workers of military medical (medical), forensic departments of central executive bodies and other central state bodies and their departments, subordinate organizations of the Medical Center UDP RK.
"By the end of August, the Fund pays about 17 billion tenge of allowances to 66 thousand medical workers involved in the fight against COVID-19, viral pneumonia," the head of the FSMS also informed.
