Every day, the Social Health Insurance Fund receives questions from patients about the quality of medical services provided to them in medical organizations.

One of the key tasks of the Foundation is to protect the rights of patients. In this regard, the experts of the fund are monitoring the quality of medical care, as well as checking the reasons for refusing to provide it.

Often, citizens do not know where to go to protect their rights as a patient, if they have not managed to find understanding when serving in a medical organization.

In order for patients to know where to turn to defend their interests, the Foundation has prepared a handy tip-tip "6 ways to protect their rights":

1. The fastest and most convenient way to solve the problem is to sort it out on the spot. For this, each medical organization has a patient support and internal expertise service. It was created to control the provision of medical services, their completeness and compliance with standards. This service conducts an internal analysis of the provision of medical care and clinical activities of a medical organization, identifies violations of the standards and procedures for the provision of medical services. She also deals with the consideration of citizens' appeals, patient complaints. Therefore, by contacting the Patient Support Service, you can resolve the situation on the spot, without wasting precious time, and get the necessary help and information.

2. If the issue was not resolved by the patient support service, and it concerns the organization of medical care, then there is an opportunity to contact the call center of the Regional Health Department. All medical organizations are subordinate to the Health Departments, so there is an opportunity to influence the solution of your issue by contacting directly the employees of the call center of the Office.

3. The Social Health Insurance Fund has several feedback channels where you can go for advice. For example, leave a request through the Qoldau mobile app 24/7 (you can install it in the Play Market and App Store). The case is assigned a number, and then the processing status is tracked. The examination is carried out by the specialists of the Foundation. They contact a medical organization, request information, check the provision or reasons for refusing to provide medical care.

4. For those who do not like installing unnecessary applications on the phone, there is the possibility of submitting an appeal via Saqtandyrubot in Telegram. After pressing the "Main Menu" command, several sections drop out to choose from. Choose "Send a request to 1406". Further, the bot offers "Send a request" and "History of requests", so later you can check the status of an already formed request. The submission of the appeal itself is carried out according to the commands of the bot, where the region, the name of the medical organization and the essence of the issue are indicated.

5. A single contact center 1406 accepts calls around the clock and considers them according to a specially created three-level model for processing calls. The first level includes questions of an advisory nature. The second and the third are appeals that require detailed study. The Foundation's specialists contact a medical organization, request information, check the provision or reasons for refusing to provide medical care.

6. It will be more convenient for users of official sites to make an appeal by going to the website of the Social Health Insurance Fund fms.kz and select the required task in the "People's Control" section: complain or leave a proposal. In the first case, the patient specifies the region, clinic, diaznosis, date of visit, IIN and selects one of the reasons for the complaint. When submitting a proposal in the empty fields, you need to fill in the initial data and formulate the text.

 The Social Health Insurance Fund emphasizes that they are interested in dialogue with the population. First of all, patients' requests make it possible to influence the availability and quality of medical services provided by the providers of the Social Insurance Fund.
